Most al pastor (bbq pork) places open up at around 5pm after a whole day of marinating the al pastor, but not Pepe's! They're open at around 1pm with a marinated al pastor that rivals its competitors. 

There's no frills at Pepe's, no fancy pork flinging or showy decor. But Pepe's lacks in ambiance and showmanship, they make up for in friendliness, reliability, and lip-smacking good food.

Their service is great - fast and helpful, clean and honest - and their open-air environment makes for a nice break from the tropical heat. Their food is always stellar - I've yet to have a bad meal at Pepe's - and their menu is reasonably sized, so everyone in your party is bound to find something they can sink their teeth into.
