Explore PV with Confidence
I've been living in Puerto Vallarta for the past 11+ years and in that time, I've tried it all - the good and the bad from food and excursions, to tech support and lease agreements.
I created Pocket Guëra for two reasons: 1) to help you overcome any stress, anxiety, fear, or confusion you may have about what to do, see, say, eat, and see in downtown Puerto Vallarta, and 2) to introduce you to the best local businesses and experiences that you likely wouldn't have found if not guided to it.
As a female American expat, I remember the discomfort of facing knowledge barriers and confidence hurdles as I sank roots into my new home. The taste of every bad food choice, the lost time to every lackluster excursion.
Whether you avoid exploring PV because you're afraid or nervous or shy or anxious, or because you've been given prejudices or preemptive concerns, or because you just want to stick with that resort life, my goal is the same: I want to empower you to discover the local side of PV!
